Dr. Treinkman received his undergraduate degree in biology from the Northwestern University. He graduated from the Northwestern University Dental School with his doctorate in Dental Surgery. He established East Village Dental Centre in 1980 and is dedicated to excellence in all aspects of dentistry. Dr. Treinkman remains at the cutting edge of dental technology, regularly upgrading the office’s capability to perform gentle, same-day dentistry.
Dr. Treinkman is committed to excellence in Dentistry and has extensive training in all aspects of General and Cosmetic Dentistry. His involvement with many dental organizations such as the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society, American Academy of Implant Dentistry, and the local Cerec Study Club has enabled him to keep on top of the latest and best that dentistry has to offer. He regularly attends courses that enables him to stay current in the rapidly changing field of dentistry.
Dr. Treinkman’s extensive training and four decades of clinical experience makes him uniquely proficient in being able to diagnose each patient’s individual dental needs and create several tailor-made options to be able to improve their smile. He is also an expert in treating same day emergency situations, skillfully handling urgent dental care issues within a few hours (or even minutes!) of a patient’s call.
Dr. Treinkman’s goal is to instill confidence in his patients by improving their smile, eliminating pain and infection, and restoring their mouth to full function with various alternatives that fit within the patient’s budget. He consistently receives rave reviews from his patients about the overall superior quality of the East Village Dental Centre in Chicago.
Dr. Treinkman gives back to the community by volunteering his time with the Illinois Foundation for Handicapped Dentistry. He has also led groups of dental students from the University of Pittsburgh on dental service trips to the Dominican Republic. In his free time, Dr. Treinkman enjoys cycling, reading, and spending time with his family and his dog Shadow.
Dominican Republic Dental Mission
Dr. Gary Treinkman, a dentist from Chicago, and seven dental students from the University of Pittsburgh Dental School traveled down to the Dominican Republic to provide free dental services to needy Dominicans. The trip was the first week of January 2011.
