About Our Doctors

Gary Treinkman, DDS

Dr. Treinkman established our office in 1980. He received his undergraduate degree from Northwestern University and is a 1978 graduate of the Northwestern University Dental School. Dr. Treinkman is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Cerec Study Club.

He is very committed to his patients and regularly takes courses on the latest techniques that dentistry has to offer. He is dedicated to keeping the office on the cutting edge of the rapidly progressing field of dentistry, and his extensive experience in multiple facets of dentistry enables him to offer his patients the best dentistry available. Dr. Treinkman is particularly interested in Cosmetic, Implant, and Reconstructive Dentistry.

Dr. Treinkman gives back to the community by volunteering his time with the Illinois Foundation for Handicapped Dentistry. He enjoys tennis, cycling, skiing, reading and spending time with his family.

Richard Rosenblatt, DMD

Dr. Rosenblatt has been in private practice since 1998. He graduated from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1997 and completed a hospital residency in general dentistry at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Reading, Pennsylvania. He has lectured in both the United States and Canada on CAD/CAM Dentistry. In addition, he is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of Computerized Dentistry of North America, Illinois Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and the Northern Illinois Cerec Study Club.

Dr. Rosenblatt has been trained in all facets of dentistry and continues to take educational courses in order to keep himself up-to-date with the constant technological changes in the field of dentistry. Dr. Rosenblatt understands the fear that can be attached with coming to the dentist. His warm personality helps put patients of all backgrounds at ease. He welcomes all patients, from the youngest of children to adults who have avoided the dentist due to previous bad dental experiences.

Dr. Rosenblatt spends his free time with his wife and three children. He is an avid skier and enjoys golf and cycling.

Benjamin McWilliams, DDS

Dr. Ben McWilliams joined our practice in the spring of 2007 from West Bloomfield, Michigan. He attended The University of Detroit Mercy Dental School where he participated in a periodontal fellowship before graduating in 2005. He practiced in Waterford, Michigan before joining the East Village family. He is a member of the ADA, IDS, CDS and AGD.

His polite and comforting demeanor keeps everyone at ease while his passion for dentistry keeps him involved with the newest developments for today’s dental patients. In his free time he enjoys living an active lifestyle golfing and watersports in the warm weather and snowboarding in the winter.

Pranav Patel, DDS, MS

Dr. Pranav Patel is our Orthodontist. He earned his Specialty Degree in Orthodontics from West Virginia University in 1998. He has been providing our patients with Quality Orthodontic services since 1999. He has a great personality - the kids love him – and he is an expert when it comes to straightening teeth.

We are very committed to our patients and regularly take courses on the latest techniques that Dentistry has to offer. We are dedicated to keeping the office on the forefront of the rapidly progressing field of Dentistry. We are able to handle all of your dental needs. Our unique combination of skills allows us to successfully treat even the most complex and challenging reconstructive and cosmetic cases. We collaborate regularly so that each of our patients are assured that they receive the finest dental care available.

Pragna Dani, RDH

Pragna is our Dental Hygienist and Office Manager. She graduated from Northwestern University Dental Hygiene School in 1987, and that same year became a member of our staff. She is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Society.

Pragna has played an integral part in the growth and success of our practice. She has an amazing ability to connect with her patients and her dedication to her patient's welfare is unmatched. She specializes in cleanings, periodontal treatment and Britesmile Teeth Whitening. Her outside interests include working out, reading and arts and crafts.
